SO WEIRD RUMORS: Confirmed and Debunked

There have been many rumors about So Weird over the years. This thread documents whether a rumor has been confirmed or debunked. If I have left anything out, please send me a message.

Rumor #1: So Weird was originally going to end with Fi going to hell and rescuing her father.
Status: TRUE. Confirmed by showrunner Jon Cooksey in the So Weird podcast interview and the FAQ.
Rumor #2: So Weird was canceled because it was too dark/wasn’t popular.
Status: FALSE. So Weird was canceled just like every other Disney show during that time period because it reached 65 episodes. Even Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens were canceled at 65 episodes.
Rumor #3: A different ending for “Twin” was shot where Rick gets thrown back off the roof by the three-headed demon after protecting Fi.
Status: TRUE. Confirmed by Jon Cooksey in the So Weird Podcast interview, Chris Gibson (the actor who played Rick) in the So Weird Podcast interview, in the leaked script for the original episode, this photo from filming of the original ending, and in the So Weird FAQ.
Rumor #4: Fi was originally going to trade years of her life in “Banshee” in order to save her grandfather from dying.
Status: TRUE. Confirmed by Jon Cooksey in the So Weird Podcast interview, by the leaked script for the original episode, and in the So Weird FAQ.
Rumor #5: Jack was going to be revealed to be a reincarnated knight.
Status: TRUE. Confirmed by Jon Cooksey in the So Weird Podcast interview and the So Weird FAQ.
Rumor #6: Fi was going to be possessed by Bricriu in the original season three and exorcised by a priest.
Status: FALSE. Denied by Jon Cooksey in the So Weird FAQ. Cooksey said on page 19 that there were never plans for Bricriu to be inside Fi.
Rumor #7: Molly was a recovering alcoholic.
Status: TRUE. Confirmed by Jon Cooksey in the So Weird Podcast interview and the So Weird FAQ.
Rumor #8: Alexz Johnson (Annie) recorded a demo for Molly’s song, “What You Do (Voodoo).”
Status: FALSE. Denied by Alexz Johnson in the So Weird Podcast interview.
Rumor #9: Cara DeLizia (Fi) was fired from the show for [insert reason here].
Status: FALSE. Jon Cooksey said in the FAQ on page 10 that Cara left the show to pursue other opportunities.
Rumor #10: There was supposed to be a TV movie called The Encounter.
Status: VERY LIKELY FALSE. There has been no evidence of this, but no direct statement from show runners or actors on whether this is true or false.
