I thought I'd make a thread about this since we were talking about it in Instagab yesterday.
As you all probably know, Disney has never released any So Weird episodes on DVD. There are several petitions out there encouraging Disney to release them (this one seems to be the most popular with 1,117 signatures), but I'm not sure if any of them were ever sent to Disney and I don't know how recent all of them are.
As I mentioned in Instagab yesterday, TVShowsonDVD is another option. The website is owned by TVGuide. By signing up for the website, fans are able to vote for the shows that they're interested in buying on DVD. As of this posting, So Weird is ranked 25th in the voting total for unreleased shows (with 1826 people voting for the show). Apparently, studios look at this website sometimes to determine fan interest in certain DVDs. If you do this, please don't make multiple accounts to vote. Voting for So Weird was supposedly suspended for months at one point because people were creating multiple accounts.
If you have any other information about Official So Weird DVDs, feel free to share.

What I would like to do, is make a petition to bring so weird on DVD and it's soundtrack released. and my goal would be to reach 1 million signatures. Now I know that could be impossible. But when 1 million people wanted old nick shows nick noticed and released them. If we can come together some how and look for fans on the internet. like youtube, tumblr, facebook, twitter, we might can make that happen, that's if there is 1 million fans that still remember the show. XD

I think we should definitely consider creating another petition at some point. For one thing, the ones I've seen are kind of poorly written. There are typos and they don't really offer much of an introduction to the petition/why people are signing (in other words, they don't talk about what made the show great and why those signing want it on DVD or why Disney should release it).
Maybe we should wait for a few months so more people can show up at the livestreams, build up interest, etc.

I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking the easiest way is on Tumblr, but I'm not sure what kinds of posts we could make. Maybe we could do one of those powerpoint presentations people like to make. They've started to get on my nerves a bit, but they sometimes get people's attention.

I've seen those before, they can get annoying but we must do what we can. I'm sure we will think of other stuff like maybe crossover fics ha

We could also play up the fact that So Weird's 15th anniversary is coming this January. It'll be 15 years since the first episode aired.

What about using the old petition but writing out our own intro. That just links tot he petition. That way we keep the old votes

That's a good idea, but we don't know who wrote it, so we don't know if they would ever send it to Disney.

I think it's fifteen years next January. Dates are confusing.
1999-2000 - 1 year anniversary 2000-2001 - 2 year 2001-2002 - 3 year 2002-2003 - 4 year 2003-2004 - 5 year 2004-2005 - 6 year 2005-2006 - 7 year 2006-2007 - 8 year 2007-2008 - 9 year 2008-2009 - 10 year 2009-2010 - 11 year 2010-2011 - 12 year 2011-2012 - 13 year 2012-2013 - 14 year 2013-2014 - 15 year
