Lyrics:
Demons come from every side (in the darkness is the light) Pulling me on a downward slide (in the darkness is the light) Gettin' hot the deeper I go (in the darkness is the light) Into the darkness down bellow In the darkness is the light
I live my life in one strait line, the future ahead and the past behind Don't wanna go back to yesterday But I don't know how long I can run this way
A tangled heart w/ tangled vines(in the darkness is the light) I'm tangled up in my own lines (in the darkness is the light) A creature there, in darkness lies (in the darkness is the light) Why is it that he has my eyes? (in the darkness is the light)
I live my life in one strait line, the future ahead and the past behind Now I hit a wall like I never knew An' they tell me the only way out is through the air
They say the truth will set you free, yeah(in the darkness is the light) Free to be down here on my knees, yeah (in the darkness is the light) But just when I thought I've lost my sight (in the darkness is the light) I catch a glimpse of that beautiful light (in the darkness is the light)
In the darkness is the light Surrender will win the fight This girl's walked through fire and ice But I come out on the other side of paradise Oh yeah paradise, yeah My paradise is here with you, is here with you baby Paradise, paradise Oh yeah 3x's Paradise

Bricrui's Lyrics of "In the Darkness"
Demons really aren't that bright In the darkness is the light I always keep mine locked up tight In the darkness is the light But they are so fun to throw In the darkness is the light Into the darkness down below In the darkness is the light
Mostly ghosts are very shy In the darkness is the light I like to poke them in the eye In the darkness is the light And kick them in their wispy shins In the darkness is the light Till they want to be human again! In the darkness is the light
I live my life in Nexus time The future is set so no need to whine Tomorrow's as settled as yesterday So you might as well sit and watch TV all day! Yeah!
A junga-bunga bango bines In the darkness is the light I get to make up my own rhymes In the darkness is the light A creature in my body lies In the darkness is the light He wants to make me bake some pies! In the darkness is the light
I live my life in Nexus time The future is set so no need to whine You've got the free will of a bowl of fruit When will you realize that your life is moot? Yeah!
Some lucky ones will get to see - yeah In the darkness is the light Exactly what their doom will be In the darkness is the light But you won't really get a fright In the darkness is the light Till you see me beautiful light In the darkness is the light
In the darkness I delight I hide under your bed at night This spunkie thinks that fire is nice It sure beats getting bored to death in Paradise Oh, spunkies in Paradise Our spirits aren't funky So if you like your spunkie Spunkie, spunkie, spunkie That's cool If you want to meet me And if you're there to see me I'll find you mine, all mine! Oh yeah, the spunkies In Paradise

I have doubt about this music i search in the opening www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8frXzn2pDc and there is a part of the music who molly sings ´´Out of the shadows of my life´´ and i find out there is one more part who is not in the full version of the music the part is: Now the ghosts come dancing by In the darkness is the light Out of the shadows of my life In the darkness is the light Coming to come clean my soul In the darkness is the light Didn't know that they would go so low In the darkness is the light Anyone can explain to me why this part is not in the full music

I know what part of the song you're talking about, but I'm not sure where you got the second half of those lyrics...
There is a full version of the song that is longer than what was shown in Encore. The reason they shortened it was because of time constraints-- they had to fit everything in the allotted time slot and they chose to shorten the song instead of shortening any dialogue between the songs so they could have more of a plot for the episode.
The full version is the first link under the video that says Original Full Song from soweird.com. But lyrics of that section are: Now the ghosts come dancing by (In the darkness is the light) Out of the shadows of my life (In the darkness is the light) All of my losses, none of my wins (in the darkness is the light) Why do I have to face them again? (in the darkness is the light)
Where did you find those lyrics? Maybe it was an earlier draft of it or maybe there's an alternate version of the song we didn't know about, which is really exciting to think about!

Ohhh that website is in Spanish and it gets a couple other lyrics wrong so I think that's just a bad translation. That's something I never thought about, though, so thanks for sharing the link!
Like I said, that part of the song IS in the original full version of the song that was released on the so weird website, the translation of the lyrics just wasn't entirely accurate. That verse just isn't in the Encore version to save some time so the show wouldn't run longer than it was supposed to. There is more than one "full" version out there and the one from the so weird website does include it.
And if you want to know more about the episodes that never aired, take a look at the 'From the Cast and Crew" board-- we have tons of information from Jon Cooksey about the episodes that they never got to make.

I could swear I remember an old So Weird promo that was just the original, full version of the song with clips from the show but I can't find it now. I did find another old so weird site that has the mp3 of the full version though: soweird33.tripod.com/sounds/ITD-F.mp3I really wish they would release a soundtrack for this show, but sadly Disney owns the rights to all of the music and they don't seem to have any interest in the show at all anymore

Whenever I think of the original plan for S3, I always try to figure out what this line means, how it would play in.

Whenever I think of the original plan for S3, I always try to figure out what this line means, how it would play in. I tend to think it's something to do with sacrificing/surrendering someone you love? It's been a while since I've read the Jon Cooksey interview so I don't know how it would play into the storyline, but maybe the death of another character to trade for Rick or Fi being saved from hell?

Interesting idea, I don't think so. Fi (in original "Banshee" script), traded her years for her grandfather's. But that's because it really was his time to die. It wasn't Rick's time to die. He didn't properly die - they took his soul first. Therefore no trade should be necessary. I don't think it'd be consistent.
Plus, Fi has to be the one to save Rick, and she can't be sacrificed - she's the lead character on a kid's show. Someone else could die during the task to save Rick/the world, but it can't be specifically in trade for Rick because then it wouldn't be Fi saving Rick. Maybe Molly surrendering to her precognitive/telepathic abilities instead of fighting them allows them to achieve something that makes the good guys win?

I like your idea about Moly a lot! It makes a lot of sense.

I don't know what "surrender will win the fight" would entail as far as Fi's journey into Hell in the third season would go, but I do know the song is not only premonition of that, it's also about Molly's past struggle with alcoholism. So where that is concerned, I believe I read somewhere that the line has to do with step 3 of the Alcoholics Anonymous program, that is, surrendering one's will to a higher power.
