During the livestream, I mentioned a fic I read ages ago where Jack wound up with the ring Fi gave to Annie and weird stuff started happening to him. Here it is: Sweet Dreams

. I wrote that fic like a million years ago. It was my first fic and it's HORRIBLE. Why on earth would you post that here?! lol

I actually did not know that was yours! Sorry? During one of the livestreams, we were talking about different directions season 3 could have taken without Fi and the topic of Jack taking over as main protagonist was brought up and I knew I had read a fanfic like that before so I mentioned it and people were intrigued so I found it and posted it here. If it makes you feel any better, my first fanfic was an abandoned, terribly-written alternate season 3 So Weird fic, too. At least you finished yours.

Haha... no worries! At least my very first fanfic was a So Weird fic. It's kinda cool that fanfiction.net actually still exists (and hasn't changed AT ALL) and continues to archive all the fics I wrote 14 years ago (a.k.a. HALF MY LIFE ago). Let that be a lesson to you kids (if any "kids" are reading this lol) -- it's true what they say, whatever you post on the internet will stay there to haunt you FOREVER!!!

It makes me so uncomfortable to think of ff.net as antiquated... Last year I gave my students a fanfiction assignment for extra credit. None of them knew what fanfiction was. They were high school sophomores and they had never heard of fanfiction. I never felt old until that moment.
