And by something I mean us fans. SW fans really need to do something to get Disney to release So Weird on DVD and the music out. I keep having this idea and it won't leave me alone. remember when people went to twitter. 1 million people requested for nick to release their old tv shows on DVD? What if we did something of the sort? I know it would take time def because we would have to find 1 million SW fans and have them all tweet something like #releasesoweird and have it trending world wide and at the same time we also tag Disney's Twitter. Look I know 1 million's a lot but with a big company like that, They probably won't even give us their attention if it's just a few thousand of us. who's with me? tell anybody you know about this show. can be your mom, dad, friend, brother, cousin, aunt, cat, dog. Alien...and we could all like list them in this big list and then we reach a million we all tweet at the same time? that's my idea anyway. do you guys have any?

DVD would be too expensive.
We should try getting the show and the CD on itunes.

I've been thinking about something along those lines for a while, Gabby. But even when Jon Cooksey endorsed the whole bug-disney thing, only a handful of people retweeted. We'd really need to get some influential people in on it to make it catch on.

I agree with JoaoR, sadly. As much as I want to own official So Weird DVDs (more than I do for pretty much any other show I've ever watched), it is highly unlikely that Disney will release the show on DVD, especially considering the other shows that have not been released in that format (Even Stevens, That's So Raven, Kim Possible, and other shows like that have only been partially released).
I actually asked the creator of nickandmore (the guy who has insider info on TBTonDC and all that) why he thought that Nick has released so many shows while Disney has not, and he said, "I could say Disney doesn't care, but... well, that may just be it. " And why should they? They're Disney. They can do, or not do, pretty much anything that they want.
I think you bring up a good point, Gabby, about Nick fans all petitioning to put "the old shows" on DVD. Maybe we would have more success with a petition or tweeting if we grouped So Weird in with other shows that have not been released by Disney.
Ultimately, though, I think that iTunes is our best chance.

Agreed that the getting the show on DVD is next to impossible. Disney has that whole limited-release policy so even if they did release the show, it would only be out for a couple months before going back in the Disney vault, never to be seen again.
To be completely honest, though, I never buy tv shows from iTunes and really have next to no interest even getting So Weird from there. I wish Disney would just release it on the Replay app so we could watch it for free, even if only a few episodes at a time.

I'm only after releasing those songs.
They're too good to stay unreleased. Like, really, they mean so much to me and they really touched me. That CD deserves a proper release.

Wouldn't make any sense for Disney to release the soundtrack without releasing the show first, though.
They need to know they have an audience for it.

I have never bought shows from iTunes, either, but for me it is 1000x better than nothing/the crappy quality that's available to us now. Since I believe it is our best chance to get this show in good quality, that's what I'm going to be tweeting Disney about from now on.
I'd love it if they'd put the show on the WatchDisney app or Netflix. I'm just not sure if Disney would feel comfortable streaming this show since anyone with access to those things would be able to look into it, even if they had never seen it and were merely curious because of the Disney name attached to it. That'd be a problem because it's so different from what they air now (even Gravity Falls, as much as I see the similarities) and they'd probably get a lot of complaints about it ("My four year old got on the WatchDisney app and was scarred for life by this show they clicked on. We thought all material on that app and on Disney Channel was suitable for little kids."). By releasing it on iTunes, only those who really want it could access it.
As for the CD, I agree that they have to know that the show has an audience before they release that.

Yeah it'll have to be on itunes, or amazon, or any other place where those who want to see it can buy it.

It's a shame Disney doesn't license their shows out to other companies for home video releases. So Weird is right up Shout Factory's alley and they'd do the show justice too.
Like everyone else though, I'd settle for the show in a quality above "recorded off of TV over a decade ago.)
