I just saw that Disney Channel (or maybe Disney XD) is going to start showing Doctor Who (at least the David Tennant seasons) which is way darker and more adult than their current programming. That seems like it would be SUCH a good show to put with So Weird re-runs (at least in late-night blocks!). Did anyone else see that news / think this?

Agreed! But it's playing on Disney XD and they're trying to target Disney XD to boys so they'd never have a show with a female protagonist on there. It's so stupid how gendered their marketing is because So Weird would fit right in with Doctor Who and Gravity Falls.

Totally! Gravity Falls really reminds me of a watered-down So Weird.

Gravity Falls reminds me of So Weird, too. I sent a tweet to Alex Hirsch, the creator, that said something like, "Think the Molly Phillips tour bus from So Weird ever came to Gravity Falls?" but he didn't respond. I do wonder if he's familiar with the show. I've always hoped they'd throw in a So Weird reference somewhere.
As for Doctor Who, I think it's really strange that they're showing it on Disney XD. They're going to have to cut out some stuff, for sure. Don't think it means anything for So Weird, unfortunately. Wish it did, though.
