Anyone ever thought of organizing a mini So Weird fan convention/ event? Or maybe organize a panel with the original cast and crew reunited at a convention?

I don't think that's ever been done and I'm not sure if anyone has ever planned it either.
There has been some speculation and discussion during the livestream about Jon or any of the writers attending Comic-Con this year (for their own projects or just as visitors). But I don't think we've gotten any confirmation about anyone attending that either.

That would be such a fun idea. I think we'd reaaaaally have to get the word out about the show before that could ever happen, though. I wish Disney would re-air the episodes on Disney Replay, just to refresh people's memories.

Ah, I see. That idea just came to mind because I remembered when a friend of mind said something about going to a Supernatural convention. I never knew that existed. Also, when I saw a youtube video of another show called 'Salute your shorts' had a panel at a convention with the cast and crew reunited. www.youtube.com/watch?v=j30MkWGYMcM

I know some shows that have their own conventions like you mentioned Supernatural and Once Upon a Time has started to do that as well. Those shows have a huuuuge fanbase though so I think that's why those conventions are a success most of the time.
It would be really neat to have a panel with some cast & crew however I'm not sure if the actors would be up to it? They all seemed to settle down with families. And, I recently found out that Mackenzie is actually a rehab counselor now.
I know people who organize cons and each celebrity has a set $$ value in order to get them to a con. It's really tricky business so if we were to ever do this, it'll be pretty tough.
However, I'm sure fans could come together at a huge con like San Diego/ New York comic con. I'm going to San Diego comic con this year and I've been thinking about printing a lot of logo stickers and passing them out! I might post on some blog to see if other So Weird fans will be there. I don't think any crew will go though except possibly some writers.

That's a great idea to pass some information about the show around!
I think there's a chance the crew could be there. The problem would be that we'd have to track down who was in the crew (producers, boom operators, supervisors, casting, visual effects, etc.) and see if they've gone on to other shows that could be making an appearance at conventions (since they sometimes get invited to parties and events like that).

That's true, it is difficult to organize a con and especially, if no one takes it seriously at all. XDDD
