Hi friends, just because of Annie Thelen season 3 SW I followed those first songs from Instant Star and her first album. I didn´t like so much those songs, but hey! I found her concerts from 2015 and her new songs, she still singing like the angels, and now with powerful songs and stage power!!
Check them out!

I'm a huge fan of Alexz's music. Similarly, I don't find the Instant Star music to be that special... I think that's because while it's Alexz singing, it's not REALLY Alexz but her character. Her personal music is just so much better... I think she sings best live and I've been lucky enough to see her live like 3.5 times. (The .5 was a mini concert during the premiere for her music video for Ruthless Love. Only 3 songs were performed...)

I don't know, I feel like Alexz Johnson's music is very different. I feel like you can pick a year since the year 2000 and you can say okay Alexz Johnson 2001, or Alexz Johnson 2004, or Alexz Johnson 2006 and you will think in your mind of a very distinct sound for what this artist sounded like at that time period. Alexz Johnson is one of those artists that is very quintessential. Whatever she takes on I feel like whatever genre of music she performs she's going to be able to completely embody that sound. I really appreciate the Instant Star music because of how Alexz's voice was able to change and mold into whatever sound they were really trying to push her into. If you think about it that show's soundtracks were each completely very different, maybe even each song was completely different sound wise, genre wise, and vocally. I love Alexz Johnson's music that she's written. But I also feel like the Instant Star music and the So Weird music or the songs she performed on Cold Squad; all of those as well add to the entire oeuvre of Alexz Johnson. I'm very obsessed with the complete sound of Alexz Johnson. I feel like every year she's put out some very substantial music whether it was leaked or produced and distributed there is this well-rounded sound each song comes into. I'm not exactly sure what I'm trying to say, cause I feel so passionately about her music and her voice, just that I do appreciate all of the music Alexz has done because I feel like all of it capitalizes on a different piece of her artistry. Each song shows a bit more what she's capable of.
