Hello. I'm Matt. I'm 27, and like all of you, I'm a fan of So Weird. I've been a fan ever since it originally aired. I was about 10 or so when the pilot aired. I either watched it on the first airing, or a rerun shortly after. The episode actually scared me, especially the scene where Fi is doing her research, sees the photo of the kid, and he causes her computer to leak. The show was one of the few disney channel original shoes (they used to air old ABC sitcoms too), that I really enjoyed. I had forgotten about the show untitl sometime when I was in my second year of college when I transfered. I forget how I came across it, but it resparked my interest in the show, and watched some episodes online,.
Then, just this past summer, I just randomly thought about binge watching the entire series from the beginning. I even binged watched season 3, which I normally skip, except for a couple of episodes. Since then, I kept lurking on the board, looking at clips, listening to the songs that are posted on youtube, reading fan fiction stories, so I was bummed to learn how different the original season 3 could have been (though I always knew Cara leaving changed things)...I think the best part of the series, it touched on a lot of aspects. It dealt with romance (Molly/Rick, Molly/Tad), comedy, drama, and action The show also did not dumb down and make the parents to be idiots, and all the actors had amazing emotional scenes.

Hi there!
I definitely agree that the show had a lot of elements that still makes it appealing. As far as kids shows go, So Weird was ahead of its time and the writers didn't underestimate their audience.
Thank you for sharing your story here. It's fascinating how the show is still remembered and that, thanks to the internet, we've been able to find each other and bond over it all these years later.

Hi Matt! Glad you joined us Lots of good points you said. I think since the story can gear towards the older audience, as we grow older and rewatch, we enjoy it even more!

Please do chime in on an episode or character threads that you're interested in, even if they haven't been posted on in a while; I'd love to read your thoughts. It's always fun getting different perspectives.

Yeah. One of the best parts about the show is all the different genres it explored. It's like Supernatural for kids. Unlike Girl Meets World, they don't make the adults out to be idiots, and is actually a mature show for Disney and not childish (seasons 1 and 2 that is).
