Watching a scene in Eddie's Desk where it seems like Mrs. Mansfield totally jinxed Clu, it got me thinking.... there are so many paranormal phenomena that the show and other shows like this could theoretically run forever and never really run out of stories to tell. What would you have liked to see covered in an episode, or maybe covered better?
Obviously a lot of people will probably say the original season 3. As much as I'd love to see that too, I am honestly at peace with how everything ended up. Even now, rewatching the third season and finding myself critiquing it a lot more than I usually do.
For me personally, I would have loved to see an episode on jinxes. Also parallel universes... if I remember correctly, there was an episode planned for that in the original season 3, also touching on the Bermuda Triangle. There is an episode in the existing season 3 that touches on parallel universes, Pen Pal, but I feel like they could have done more with it. An Atlantis episode would have been awesome as well.
I remember watching a video on youtube talking about myths and legends... there's one story about this train that stops in this old rundown station every night around midnight, and if you get on it, it takes you somewhere and you don't come back. It's sort of like a ghost train. I feel that would have been a really interesting plot for a standalone episode.

Perhaps an episode on Shapeshifters? I know Supernatural had almost a full season dedicated to Shapeshifters. The closest So weird came to it was Changeleings and Wil 'O Wisps.

Interestingly, I thought of that right after I posted the thread. That would have had a lot of potential for an episode. I was also thinking of an Area 51 episode. With all the alien storylines, I am honestly surprised there wasn't an episode for Area 51.

I also wish there was an episode fully dedicated to Rick's last day. Cara didn't even need to be in the episode as Fi was a baby anyways. We only had mentions and that scene from Nightmare, but I'd have loved to see an entire episode about it. It could have been an anniversary of his death, his birthday, etc, and could have featured flashbacks to the day. And a cameo by Bricriu causing the accident too.

I never thought about having an ep about it but it seems like it would have been an amazing ep. However, us not knowing too much about his death also has its own allure.

Well, if Cara had stayed and the flavor of teh show hadn't changed, the Rick's-last-day ep could have been right near the end. While Fi is figuring out what happened ...and the cliffhanger ending would be when she discovers she can get him back.

Speaking of flashback episodes, I would like to see an episode regarding the family origins of the Phillips Family. Jack's ancestor as a knight and Fiona's predecessor as a witch? if I'm not mistaken. If they aren't able to devote an entire episode to them, perhaps utilize the flashback scenes in-between the main plot of an episode (ala Arrow, Highlander, or Annie's Song from season three).

The Bermuda Triangle concept from the season 3 outline immediately came to mind. That one had a lot of potential! It would've been really interesting to see Fiona deal with her emotions in regards to having Rick alive, and act like that was a normal thing. I would imagine having to try to get her real life back, and subsequently cope with losing him yet again would have made for a strong moment in her character development. (Not that I want to see her suffer!) That said, the "getting back to reality" thing vaguely reminds me of the Christmas episode where she can't get back to 'present day 2000'. I'm also sad there was never a follow-up to the OOPA storyline, so I agree about Atlantis. So much lost potential! I really liked "Pen Pal", but I agree. Like many of the season 3 episodes, I think they could've hit a bit harder with it.

In the last couple months, I have had like 3 episodes of sleep paralysis, even though I have never had to deal with anything like that before. As scary as it can be, I think it would be interesting to have an episode dedicated to it. My experiences haven't been too bad in the sense of seeing ghosts or demons or anything like that, but reading more about this sleep disorder, that is a common theme.

In addition to the original season three, Because I'm totally biased toward my favorite mythical creatures, I would've loved a stronger mermaid episode where we actually see a tail and a more sympathetic mer-character than Lal. Maybe a mermaid love interest for one of the boys, although they did kinda do that in the Siren episode, as sirens do often get confused with mermaids in mythology despite sirens originally being part-bird. I haven't found any SW fanfiction with mers in it yet, so I might some someday...

I'd have loved to see the original ideas for S3, even if I don't like every single one of them.
Awesome!
I'd have really enjoyed a darker, angstier (and I'm not even a particular dark/angsty fan) version of "Exit 13" - or some other repeating day ep. Oh, I know it's a trope, but I'd have liked to see the hero/heroine (I'd assume it to be Annie or Fi outside the loop, but someone else being outside and recruiting the lead for assistance could be neat, too and Jack would be amazing for it given his fear of losing Fi or Molly) trying to save a loved one from being killed. The angst and pain - then the relief and joy once the day was saved. I'm a sucker for it.
I wouldn't have minded a casual reference or B-plot (not worthy of an main plot) of Carey trying to balance his place between a family member and band member - between being a kid and employee - and getting some idea how the other band members view him and his gig in the band. Are they thinking "nepotism" or what? He's treated very much as one of the kids (and acts as one often) by Molly, and I just wonder if that would start to chafe as he gets older.
The impersonator - somewhat like Bricriu, I admit. Clu comes home for a visit. But is acting a bit strangely. It's not him, but a demon/monster/shapeshifter impersonating him. And targeting either Fi or Annie. Could have gotten to see EVD all dark and serious and scary at the end. And the heroine must actually fight him, maybe even (attempt to) kill him. Or else the real Clu is rescued and you have the traditional "mirror fight" and he takes out his own doppelganger.
