this is awesome! I was so content with the version we got, and I guess I still am since there's not much of a choice now,... but damn, Disney, why ya gotta ruin good things! LOL Now I'm just wishing I had the studio version of Love Is Broken.

LOL Now I'm just wishing I had the studio version of Love Is Broken. Agreed, the ending what we got in actuality was breathtaking but the original version sounds emotionally tragic. What's there to be said as far as what the 3rd season could've been?

This just really makes me want the original ending and the original season three! *cries* Though it is giving me some inspiration for some fanfiction....

Having access to this is so freaking awesome to me! We've heard about the original ending to "Twin" for years and we'll probably never get to see it but with this script, it's easy to picture how it played out.
We'll be talking about this on the podcast (and want to hear your all's thoughts of course!) but some cool things I noticed:
- The monster is named Nx and is called The Unholy Trinity (sidenote: , has anyone seen Glee?) - They cut out the part where the goo spells DIE. Too much for Disney? And also the monster was going to talk. Not sure how well his line would have worked out loud. - We now know the messages Fi got earlier in the episode through Rachel's writing weren't from Rick - The evil entities broke the rules, taking Rick before he died, which gives him some power in the mortal world, which is how he restored his body briefly to pull Fi up. Such a cool idea and a satisfying explanation to why he was able to do so! - Rick and the Unholy Trinity fall into a pit in the road. Rick is able to tackle the monster by using his strength to make his body whole again, like he did to save Fi. - The script says that "Molly is overwhelmed with feelings of loss she can't understand" after Rick falls. It also says that Molly is crying at the end of the song. Do you all think the shot of Molly finishing the song in the episode that aired was done before the script changes or after?

Wow, awesome!!!! Thank you so much for this! I haven't read it yet (won't have time for a while xD) but I will as soon as I can. Last time I rewatched the first two seasons (I kind of skip season 3) I really wondered how the original ending would have been... This is the closest we'll ever get to watching the original version XD

I saw this the other day and as soon as I could, I rewatched the episode then read the script. I am REALLY glad to have this! We've heard about the original ending to "Twin" for years and we'll probably never get to see it but with this script, it's easy to picture how it played out.

Do you all think the shot of Molly finishing the song in the episode that aired was done before the script changes or after? Was the original ending even filmed? I always got the impression Disney made them change the script before the episode was even shot. Or am I forgetting something from the Jon Cooksey FAQ?

This tracks with the broadcast version of "Banshee" where Fi's grandpa was allowed to live with the implication that it was because the balance was disrupted due to Rick's death being unnatural. Lots of deals with devils going on in this show, teehee

The first question of the So Weird FAQ, Cooksey said the ending had to be reshot. That original footage has to be out there somewhere, right? If only in the Disney Vault... -Sigh- - The evil entities broke the rules, taking Rick before he died, which gives him some power in the mortal world, which is how he restored his body briefly to pull Fi up. Talk about egg on my face. It's been a while since I last read the FAQ. Yes, there are MANY things from the Disney vaults I wish they would release, and So Weird is only the tip of the iceberg.

UPDATE: Never mind, I was able to access it through the Google drive link in the Instagab chat. Thanks for linking that up for everyone to check out, really cool stuff!!!

Chris Gibson, who played Rick, shared with us a picture from the filming of the original ending of "Twin!" Here, you can see Rick falling off the building when he fights with the monster.

Just a thought that randomly crossed my mind... how crazy would it have been for people working or living in the offices in the surrounding buildings, just seeing some guy be thrown off a building out of the corner of your eye. I mean, everyone in the area was likely aware of the shooting schedule weeks in advance, but to be the one person who isn't aware and gets caught off guard would be funny.
