Found a new interview with Patrick Levis! Mostly promos his solo album but he also mentions So Weird and how people still recognize him from Brink. Also, he has an adorable baby.

I thought he had fallen off the face of the Earth after Maybe It's Me was cancelled. Anyway it's great that he has been doing well in terms of showbiz and music. Maybe he, Mackenzie Phillips, and Alexz Johnson could reunite and perform together.

That would be so fun! They could sing "One In A Million World." There's that line And here we are again...

But he was hard to track for a while, which led to the creation of this beauty on Conrad's Hideout: He just got really into Christian ministry. He was in a band with his brother and sister called Least of These and then he started doing solo stuff. But he's also acted in the Hallmark movie Love's Unfolding Dream a couple of years ago.

That picture is great! It's sad to me that I didn't know about that community when it was still active.

I know! It's sad to me that I just lurked on it for a couple of years before finally making a post and by then the community was already dying down. But I still love them (this is the community that single-handedly started the Molly/Carey movement and made the icon I use) and won't let them be forgotten.

I'm offended he didn't mention his starring role as Donny Osmond in the Osmond Family movie. I still have that on VHS somewhere.

Guys, I really wish I could find this fic I wrote when I was 14 about Patrick and me. It was truly a masterpiece. A huge component of the story was that I was pretending to be Christian in order to seduce him. I had such a crush on him back then, but being an atheist, you know. We were like star-crossed lovers in my mind. I remember him promoting some book about how you have to abstain from dating until you meet your soulmate (was it this one), which obviously presented a huge obstacle for our love. How do you convince someone who doesn't believe in dating, to date you? lol. But apparently it all worked out for him in real life!

I hope you find it someday, because I'm laughing just reading your post. I'm certain that it would move me to tears.

I nearly just choked on my sandwich from laughing while reading that. Sounds like a hilarious story!
In all seriousness, though, it makes me really happy that he seems so happy with his life and passionate about what he's doing with it. Not many people are that lucky.
