I was a casual viewer, if it was on TV I'd watch it but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.
Which is odd because every episode I have seen was great, I'm just lazy

I just started watching it again. Only 7 episodes in, but there have been a bunch of actors from So Weird already! I remember us talking in the streams about all the SW actors on SPN, but not X-Files!
Terence Kelly (Grampa in "Banshee") is in "Squeeze," Lachlan Murdoch (James from "Tulpa") is in "The Jersey Devil," Tom Heaton (Andrew from "Roswell") is in "Shadows," and Gillian Barber (Mary Hollander from "Listen") is in "Ghost in the Machine." And these are just the ones from the first 7 episodes. I think I'm forgetting someone, too! I even thought I saw the woman that plays Susan in "Medium" as a secretary at the FBI in "The Jersey Devil," but the role was so small that the person wasn't even credited.

That's so awesome! I just started watching The X Files for the first time, but I'm only about 5 episodes in and haven't caught on to any of that lol.

Yeah, some of them have really small roles. Lachlan Murdoch is only shown from a distance in the very last scene of his episode, and he's much younger, obviously. I'm surprised I recognized him! Haha.

We watched another few episodes today and Alf Humphreys, who plays Gabe's dad in "Angel," was in the episode "Space."
I bet there have been actors from season three in it, too, but since I'm not as familiar with S3, I don't recognize them.

Tonight's episodes: "Fire" had Duncan Fraser, who played Jonas Arrbee in "Carnival," as well as Lynda Boyd, who was Evelyn in "Siren."
"Beyond the Sea" had Sheila Larken as Scully's mom, and I'm pretty sure she was the Doctor in "James Garr" (I remember someone mentioning this in the stream.)
Someone else should get in on this Spot the So Weird Actor game with me. It's so fun and it's getting ridiculous!

Haha, okay! I may edit this post at some point with a list of the ones I've recognized. Three more today - Jay Brazeau in "Lazarus" and "One Breath" (Mr. Cox in "Detention"), and Merrilyn Gann (Judy in "Werewolf") and Robin Mossley (Driving Instructor in "Drive") in "Young at Heart."
--
Ellie Harvie in "E.B.E." She was the woman who ran the animal shelter in "Shelter." "Miracle Man" - Chilton Crane (Annie's mom), Iris Quinn (Aunt Rachel), and Campbell Lane (Mr. DiFranco) Jerry Wasserman in "Tooms" and "Excelsis Dei." He played James Garr as well as the club owner in "Family Reunion." Could've sworn Andrew Wheeler was in "The Erlenmeyer Flask" as the guy at the telephone booth, but the role went uncredited. He was Patrick Raymond in "Medium." David Fredericks in "Blood," "Oubliette," "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man," and "Travelers." He was the previous car owner in "Drive." Anna Hagan in "Sleepless." She was Becca in "Roswell." David Adams in "Sleepless." He was Leopold Martin in "Medium." Stephen E. Miller in "Pilot," "Duane Barry," and "Piper Maru." He was the handyman in "Muse." Teryl Rothery in "Excelsis Dei." She was Irene Bell in the pilot episode, "Family Reunion."

Pardon me if I overlooked any of the responses on here, but let's not forget Jewel Staite, from the episode "Siren." In The X-Files, she is Amy Jacobs in the episode "Oubliette."
