I stumbled upon another set of reviews. This guy (filtered for posts tagged So Weird) is currently blogging his way through the series. I think it's been a while since he watched the show, so try not to spoil him for anything if you comment!

Hey, thanks for linking to my blog! During September/October, I review as many horror movies and TV shows as possible and, after grabbing a bootleg release of So Weird at a horror convention two years, decided to make the show part of my seasonal viewing. I hadn't seen it since it originally aired all that time ago on Disney, so revisiting it has been a treat.
I debated whether or not I'd rewatch season 3 during next Halloween, since I remember disliking it as a kid, but I probably will watch it just to complete the series. And to see if it's any better then I remember.

Bootleg versions of So Weird being sold at a horror convention? Never thought I'd hear that, haha. I've never been to a convention, though.
If you do rewatch S3 and don't enjoy it, I hope it doesn't tarnish your thoughts on the show as a whole. It wasn't supposed to go that way, after all.

I didn't originally plan to rewatch Season 3 when I did my big rewatch in 2012... just because I also remembered disliking it as a kid and hating Annie... but I decided just to go with at and see what I thought since I was about 11 years older and I was genuinely curious about what I didn't like... but honestly, in that rewatch, I kind of fell in love with Annie/Alexz.
It's kind of similar to when I was getting into Doctor Who. I loved Rose to death, then Martha comes in and steals the thunder, trying to be what Rose was to The Doctor. Initially, I hated Martha and just wanted her to die... but eventually, through rewatches, I grew to love her.
