I was just binge watching S1 with my best friend last night and noticed something I didn't notice in the past.... Gabe's UN in Instagab is SethsAngel. I believe in S2 they showed it to be JacksAngel... Who is Seth?

Something always wondered but I don’t believe ever asked (though honestly I might have at some point LOL)
What do others think happened to James’s father? He mentioned his mom having died and he lived in a bunch of foster homes until his grandma took him in but never brought up his father. In my head canon his father is alive but perhaps in jail or unable to care for his child. Perhaps because of abuse. Which would explain James desperately wanting a friend and someone to protect him. However that’s a bit deep for Disney Show. Still I can’t help to notice the sympathetic look Molly gives him is beyond feeling sorry he lost a parent.
Yeah I’m sure I’m reading far too much into this 😃

Yeah I’m sure I’m reading far too much into this 😃 I always love reading into things! I think its a So Weird fan essential skill James is one of the most intriguing and overlooked characters of the show (imho). I assumed James' dad was just a deadbeat (one night stand kind of thing) and his mom just decided to have him and dump him. I really like how Fi has an empathetic flair for helping to heal broken people, broken families. Tulpa is one of my favorite episodes! I think Molly knew the whole story by the time she met him - this poor abandoned kid roaming around the park.It would be so easy for a show (any show) to just James off as a crazy kid with behavior problems and bad social skills. It kind of works that way a little bit via Jack but Fi and even , keep searching for the humanity in him. In my "alternative season 3" the one that brings in Alexz amid Cara's departure but still holds strong to the unfinished arcs of the show, Annie is James' sister, and he (along with Fi) have gone missing after he designed the unholy trinity and was unable to control it. Thanks for sharing!

I was watching the episode again and a tiny part I don't know if anybody has thought about: 's reaction to James on the bus. He just gruffly yells out "Who are you?!" Makes me wonder if he's ever had to deal with a crazed fan breaking into the bus. That would make for an interesting fanfiction.
