Really speaking about the kids, here, as the adults already have careers. Carey - He's already got a job. I expect him to remain a musician. Annie - Musician, as we've already seen her record. Now for the ones I actually have to think about: Fi - I just have so much trouble coming up with anything except the supernatural for her. She's seemingly can a good history paper, so I think I'll have her be an author. She'll travel around defeating evil and helping lost souls and books about it. The majority of the public, of course, won't believe these books, but she'll sell enough to make a living. Jack - Something to make the world a better place, since he seemed into that in "Vampire" and he's well-suited to it. I could actually see him as a child psychologist or something like that. I'm just not sure though. Anyone else got ideas? Clu - I'm still without ideas for him. Any suggestions?

I like your ideas! I think Fi could become an investigator of unsolved crimes, because she seems to enjoy mysteries and the unexplained. But I do think she appreciates history, so I could also definitely see her working at a museum of some sort.
Clu tried to make a documentary in "Web Sight," so maybe he could become a documentary filmmaker or direct music videos or something! He'd have a leg in for the latter, knowing Molly Phillips.

I completely forgot about Clu's attempted movie-making career. Very good call.

I really like the idea of Fi taking the X Files route and working for a government agency, conducting her own investigations under wraps and eventually undermining the guy who stole the OOPA. Outside the realm of the supernatural, I could also see her being a very accomplished computer hacker and going into the technology field.
I can see Jack becoming a corporate lawyer with a heart of gold or an accountant. Since he tends to be such a killjoy on the show I imagine him choosing the most boring, safe career he can find (a little bit like Sam Winchester tried to do). That child psychologist idea is very sweet, though.
For Clu I can definitely see the possibilities in film making. I could also see him becoming one of those hippy-like college professors, teaching a course on philosophy that involves taking his classes on field trips to forests and skate parks and applying theories of the universe to them.

I guess I see her as more of an independent agent than a government one. The red tape, the restrictions, etc. would bother her, I think. Undermine that guy - absolutely, though, I like that.
Maybe. He did say Mom in a suit was depressing, didn't he? But I figure that's because it's not in her nature, would not make her happy, rather than because he's fundamentally opposed to suits and the business world.

True on Jack. I think that everybody thinks suits are depressing when they're teenagers, though. I can see Jack growing out of that thinking though and seeing the appeal in the stability it offers after a childhood mostly spent on the road.

Did he spend most of his childhood on the road? I though Molly retired from the music business after Rick's death (when he was 5?) and didn't go on the road again until he was 14? And not all of that time would have been spent on the road, though a lot probably was.
I also didn't get the impression that he disliked it or wanted to stay home or anything like that. Was he like that in S3?

In Avatar, there's a scene about how when Jack and Fi were little they spent so much time on the road they would create little worlds and fill them with popsicle people to pass the time. And I think teenage years also qualify under the umbrella of growing up/childhood.
It's not that I think he dislikes it, it's just that people have a tendency to want what they don't have and think about their childhoods a little differently when they get older. I don't think he'll ever regret supporting his mom because that's the very nature of his character-- he lives to support and protect those he loves. But when you spend so much of your life giving everything to others, sometimes you want something just for yourself. And after seeing how Molly's career has impacted their entire lifestyle, I think Jack would look at a career as more than just a job. In Jack's life there's been a lot of instability between losing his father, having an alcoholic mother (Disney may not have allowed Chrysalis but I still accept it as canon), growing up on the road, having a girlfriend he could lose to cancer, etc... having a stable career would give him some security to hold onto that's just for him and if he can do good for other people while achieving that sense of security for himself, all the better.

Fiona - A career Youtuber where she discusses weird stuff, visits places, etc. Oh trust me with her personality she'd be able to reign in enough views. Then she'd easily get a book deal of some sort...
Jack - Something laid back and can help others. Maybe a counselor of some sort. More specifically at a school.
Clu - Um...totally random but maybe a little shop on a beach?

Maybe. At least that's business. If he goes to college and ends up a surf instructor, I don't know how Irene would take it. Well, maybe if it's his own business...

LOL, there are a bunch of 420 dispensaries along Venice Beach, at least last time I went there. Right up Clu's alley!

Fiona - I would think a grief counselor of some sort, who does paranormal stuff on the side. Carey - probably fell deeply in love and got married and had a beautiful life. A musician. Jack - scientist or researcher, mostly likely still challenged by believers Clu - definitely a different type of career: actor, model, something off beat
