Some of you all have probably seen this before, but I found an old L.A. Times article from 1999 that talks about the start of Season 2. It mentions that So Weird drew in 950,000 viewers per episode for the first season.
I like the line about the 9:00 PM to 5:15 AM shooting schedule (judging by the description, I guess for "Boo?"). Sounds like fuuuuuuun.

I did a Google Search and found a few old articles that are either about So Weird or make reference to the show.
This artlcle came out right before the show premiered on January 13, 1999. It has a short review of the pilot episode and a quote from Mackenize Phillips. Interestingly, the article calls Fi a contemporary Hayley Mills. Mackenzie says Fi isn't a "tall, skinny blonde" which is somewhat awkward given... um... Annie's eventual appearance.
This article is from December 1999 and focuses on Mackenzie and her comeback. She says that she wants to serve as a beacon to other and that Disney has embraced her baggage with So Weird.
This article is from January 2000 and is about Henry Winkler. In the article, he calls So Weird "wonderful" and says that he "acted in two episodes." We know he was in "Boo." Did he have a role in another episode cut?

Sean Abley, writer for "Drive," said he wrote the role of the driving instructor with Henry Winkler in mind. Perhaps that was what Winkler was talking about in that article. But the article came out after "Drive" and "Boo" aired, so he should have been able to say he only acted in one.

He would have pulled off that role so well

I think I would have liked him better as the driving instructor than his character in Boo. LOL

spunkiemunkey on the Discord found this awesome interview with Henry Winkler on the Rosie O'Donnell show that aired on January 18 1999, the day that So Weird premiered! Audience members received a So Weird Magic 8 Ball and a VHS tape of the pilot.
