Jon Cooksey was very generous to answer our (and your) questions for an hour and a half in celebration of the 20th anniversary of So Weird! For those who don't know, Cooksey was head writer, showrunner, lyricist, and an executive producer for the first two seasons of So Weird.
Please check out the interview below. You can also listen on iTunes or Podomatic. A transcript is here. We can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Thank you for this! I was thinking last night and I should have asked this, but I wonder if Cara didn't leave and Disney told Jon to make the show lighter, if there was a way he could have done it and still given it a proper ending?

Downloadable linkOur next special guest interview on #TheSoWeirdPodcast is with one of So Weird's showrunners, Ali Marie Matheson! Ali was an imperative figure in So Weird being an executive producer and writer (Banshee, Encore, Lost) for seasons 1+2. Ali Marie Matheson is the daughter of prolific author, Richard Matheson. She is known for her work on Rugrats, So Weird, The Collector, Halloweentown and MASK. She was previously married to Jon Cooksey, who she wrote all her episodes with and were both show runners of So Weird.
