Hey everyone! I'm Amanda. New to the board but I'm looking for crossover assistance? I have been tossing around the idea of writing a "season 3" more in the way that the Cooksey and the gang had originally wanted. (Fi gets to find out what really happened to her dad, drama, excitement, all that.) But I was thinking of updating it a little instead of trying to 2001. Fi's pushing 30 now. She's still messing around with the supernatural and she's kinda hoping that leads to more answers about her father. If you're wondering the crossover it's SPN. I want Sam and Dean to run into her and help her out (I'm going off of maybe sometime in s9, before the finale because I don't want to deal with the changes that happened). Plus I really think Sam and Fi would get along. I'm hoping to organize it like a full season and have episodes and a midseason cliffhanger and all that jazz. This means I need all the help I can get researching the So Weird side of things so that I don't make a huge error in canon and people think I'm dumb. (Like wth is Molly's maiden name?) If any of you would like to help me, I would greatly appreciate any help and would be more than happy to give credit once it's all up and running. Feel free to message me here or on my tumblr (username is the same there). A

I would seriously kill for a Glee/SW crossover, Glee being moved to the early 2000's, and Molly on the tour with Fi, and Annie as an opening act as well as Fi's best friend/girlfriend. The Glee club goes out to celebrate after winning regionals and goes to a Molly Phillips concert. Brittany, Santana (who are out and proud) and Finie forming a strong friendship over the few days, and Brittana helping Finie come out to Molly.
Yes. Now, where's the fan fiction Santa?

I love this idea! I would so it myself, since like all the SW fics I have the Fi/Annie pairing. (Not even joking... I am the captain of their ship. ) Sadly, I have literally not even watched Glee since early on in season 3. Well... I've seen the Cory Monteith tribute episode, but other than that, I haven't seen it since it was good. XD

It's the season for Halloween and I have Hocus Pocus on the brain.
I feel like you have so many avenues to go with this but unfortunately I'm not a writer so these are just brainstormed ideas.
-AU HP ending, Binx remains a cat and lives at the Dennisons'. The Philips/Bell clan head to a Salem for a concert. Both gangs meet somehow. I mean it's Salem, Fi would probably go a tour of the Sanderson cottage if she had the chance which could lead her to meeting Allison. Fi finds out about Binx and what could break a witch's curse but another witch. They have to deal with translating the gaelic spells and finding the right one before Fi leaves and deal with the fact they're trying to kill Binx so he could be free.
- Or simpler version of the above. Pre-HP. Fi in Salem and runs into Binx. She initially thinks it'something similar to what happened in Shelter. Binx doesn't trust her because he doesn't trust witches. Eventually she frees Binx and steals the candle to destroy it.
- Rewrite HP with So Weird as the main cast. I can see Jack lighting the candle to disprove Fi. Or Carey, just because. Carey's decision making skills are questionable.
- When Max, Allison and Dani go to find their parents at a Halloween party at town hall, the Molly Philips band is the one that is playing. Fi would believe their warning and cover her ears. She would probably drag Clu and Jack with her to see what they were talking about. And Carey depending on whether or not he is in the band at this point.
And random points that can be in either of the latter two ideas.
- Fi accidentally reveals she has her own spell book. Sanderson sisters try to entice her to their side. Witches should stick together right? Plus a common "weapon" people use on Fi is her father and we know the sisters have the ability to resurrect someone (themselves and Billy are the key examples).
- If you stick with them luring the witches into the high school and burning them alive. The SW gang probably would head back to the town hall and see that Molly is still playing and realize the curse didn't break sooner than in the movie.
- We know Callie's siren song worked on Carey (but not on Jack) but what about Sarah's? Is our resident man-child more man or child? And I know that people cite Jack's angel necklace/his relationship with Gabe as why Callie didn't affect him but what if that was just Jack's power. He's a walking shield from the supernatural. The Yin to Fi's Yang.
If you have any ideas you want to share I would love to know. If you wrote a fic I would definitely love to read it.

I don't know if we are allowed to go beyond canon, but I always thought that Fiona and Marnie Cromwell-Piper from the Halloweentown movies would have been great friends. Imagine Fi flying around with Marnie and combating evil warlords like Kalabar. I could also see Molly and Gwen performing a duet at the end of the movie. Jack and Dylan standing by, being skeptical of the goings on. driving the Halloweentown bus between dimensions and being friends with Benny the Cab Driver. Irene having a cup of tea with Agatha. Sophie would have a crush on Clu. Luke and Carey would be roadies for the Cromwell-Phillips World Tour. I may be stretching it, but I've always seen similarities between the two series. Let me know your thoughts?

There are definitely so many similarities! I think part of it might be because Jon Cooksey and Ali Marie Matheson were writers for both Halloweentown (first 2 movies) and So Weird (first 2 seasons). Dylan, in recent years of watching, has struck me as an early prototype of Jack.
Also, Kalabar has always given me Tad Raxall creeper vibes. I'd like to imagine that Tad Raxall has a dark side and when Molly has rejected him one too many times, he creates the alterego of Kalabar and commits acts of mediocre horror (a la Butter's Professor Chaos in South Park) like killing all of the flowers on the tour bus or cursing Molly Phillips to a life as a backup singer for Annie Thelen, whose voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to Molly but fine to everyone else.

So recently, I thought of two different Marvel crossovers with So Weird. A friend of mine told me the problem with crossovers with this show is how to fit it within the show's universe especially with its rules of how the supernatural works. Well, I thought of two different ones to fix that.
For starters, I have a crossover idea with the Inhumans and I'll just copy and past what I said in a Twitter thread to save me time.
It's an alternate universe for the Inhumans but in continuity with So Weird. It turns out that whole artifact in the Oopa episode is Attilan technology. In fact, people have been getting the name Attilan wrong by referring it as Atlantis and the actual story starts with Fi in some rural town thinking the beast the locals discuss is a barghest, turns out to be Lockjaw and then subsequently encounters the Inhuman royal family on the run from Maximus in an abandoned farm. She spies on them, gets caught, the works. But eventually they develop trust but reluctantly so for the Inhumans since they make it clear they don't trust the human race and only trust Fi because of the whole Oopa episode as it turned out that "cheese wheel" is an Inhuman artifact. Along the way, Fi discovers that not only did they inspire their comic book (and subsequent media) counterparts, they were the inspiration for superheroes, period. The Inhumans unknowingly influenced pop culture like Black Bolt flying around catching the attention of a young Siegel and Shuster which prompted them to create Superman. And somehow, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee had psychic connections to the royal family. So, it's kind of meta.
And the other idea is one where Captain America steps literally outside of the Marvel universe and into the "real world." Basically a reverse Last Action Hero. And discussing with a friend of mine gave me solid theme ideas to go with such as why people care about him as a character and such. As well as my own ideas of how he has taken how he had been written over the years and the repercussions finding out and how he copes with it which culminates in a third act where Cap saves Fi from N/X from that Medium episode after getting renewed confidence thanks to her and people who love Cap. And when he begins to fight N/X, it's afraid of him suddenly and the idea is that he's a symbol of hope. He's a symbol of what people should aspire to be and as a result, Cap opts to talk it to death, kind of like the ending to Flight of Dragons for example. But I'm struggling how he'd go back to the Marvel universe so admittedly, I'm looking for some input there.
But I'm curious what you guys have to think and if there's anything that should be done for both ideas. Don't be afraid to shoot me what.

How about So Weird crossing over with Doctor Who? Would anyone be interested in that? Molly laying the smackdown on Six would be fun (no way one of the boys doesn't comment on his outfit). Two would probably want to play a gig with the band. Ace is probably the right age to be excited about PKB, but I'm not sure it would be her thing. Maybe Mel. Several of the companions were teens when traveling with the Doctor and might be perceived as peers to Fi and Jack by the adults. Adults that would be vastly underestimating them. Thinking of adults underestimating teens, I'm now thinking off crossovers with the Bat family. Stick any one of the of the teenage Robins in there, and they'd be more qualified for the fighting evil than Molly. Gosh, I think Fi and Maps (from Gotham Academy) might get along. EDIT: Gotham Academy - since I figure most people here won't be familiar with it. Even has a teenage girl with an interest in the occult. Never thought of it before, but I actually do think fans of SW are likely to like it.
