The timing of this ep throws me off a bit. It's either one or two eps after Christmas, but everyone's in short sleeves and even shorts. It's swimming weather ("35 years ago this week"). It definitely does not look like winter in Missoula. So I guess there has to be a large gap between "Fountain" and "Strange Geometry" (I prefer production order) That makes more sense than a big time-span between "Strange Geometry" and "Fall." From this stie's info, I'd think it has to be at least April. Probably May, since the boys were swimming. indicated (but did not definitively say) it was during the school year. Do any of the later episodes mention a date or timeframe?

I don't know... I'd have to rewatch and I've been wanting to but I've been so busy with work... but the only later episode I can think of that indicates the timeframe is Lightning Rod in S3... it has to be early August because it's literally right before school begins, a couple weeks give or take... and Annie makes a comment about fall coming fast in Colorado.

Fair point on "Lightning Rod" - but I'm more inclined to say S3 just didn't pay attention to the timeline, given other inconsistencies from S3. Still, I'm having some timeline issues. If "Fall" is indeed at least April, then I could put "Twin" later in fall or even winter (see how cold it seems to have gotten by "Twin" with seeing the breath and the coats and such), but might not work either, because in "Encore" Molly says she's been on the road "almost two years" and we know they started in summer of 1998 ( Fi said they were going on tour in summer in "Fountain," right?). That would make this spring of 2000, at the latest, and that makes no sense with the weather in "Fall" or how it seems to have gotten warmer (after "Fountain"), and then cooler again. But I will persevere in my attempt to make a timeline from the first two seasons.
