I pulled a typical Wednesday Adams, only because I figured it was something I could pull off, mainly by putting my hair in braids- which I want to do more often now anyways and I also see that Fi used to wear her hair in braids and do other crazy hairstyles back then- but I digress-- without spending any money on it.
Littleduck, which character did you choose this year? Did anyone go as Frankenstein, Dracula, or Dorian Gray? Does Dorian Gray count?
Usually, I let Halloween pass me by, but being away/out of my home country made me want to celebrate, so I dressed up with a friend a few days ago and we just stayed in and watched a movie. Speaking of movies, this year I got to re-watch all of the Scream movies, including the last one, which isn't the best... as well as some other late 90s/early 2000s horror flicks-- not all of them but I did re-visit some of them. i.e. I Know What You Did Last Summer, Disturbing Behavior, The Faculty, The Craft, Halloween H20, Hocus Pocus, etc.

Wednesday Adams sounds awesome. One year my mom dressed up as Morticia. We still have the costume, but it's too big for me to wear it XD
I actually kind of missed Halloween this year because of fieldwork and then class, which is super depressing because it's my favorite holiday, and by the time I drove home it was too late for trick or treaters to be out and the only "Halloween" movie on was the of Addams Family Values, where they're putting on a Thanksgiving play.
For my night class, though, we got extra credit and prizes for coming in costume. The catch was it had to be a character from one of the gothic stories we've read. I just wore one of my sister's old shirts from when she went through her Hot Topic phase and tied my hair back and said that I was Sybil from "A Whisper in the Dark" after the scene where she gets her hair chopped off. My professor was not impressed but since so few kids actually came in costume, I still got a box with a bat and some cool-looking Latin phrases on it as a prize.
It's awesome that you got to watch so many movies, Rockerbaby8. That's usually my favorite part of the Halloween season, but this year all I got to see was the last half hour of "Addams Family Values" and while that was one of my favorite movies as a kid, it's not much of a Halloween movie XD
