So, I like this episode more than I thought I did. At first, I didn't but now that I'm older, I definitely appreciate it more especially the ending. And, I like it when Fi is reading the journal. Everything is just pieced together so wonderfully, and I love how kind she is, in this episode in truly helping out people, even through regular old mail. It's just so sweet

When I was younger, I was letdown by this episode. I felt it should have been more exciting as a Bigfoot episode because that is the OG cryptid/supernatural interest for a lot of us.
Rewatching it in my 20s made me appreciate the quiet tone and instead of thinking it as boring I found it somber. It's since become one of my favorite episodes specifically because of that final scene you described with the journal and Fi saying what happens to people after they pass away.
