Did you know there’s a Title Request form on Netflix? It's right here. All you have to do is type in whatever you want to see (So Weird, duh) and click “Submit Suggestion.” No plea message is needed, and you won’t get a response (I didn’t), so what the heck? Let’s all give it a shot.
If you have Netflix, please do this. It takes literally five seconds. And spread the word to other So Weird fans!
We've tried many methods of getting So Weird released over the years, but it may be more effective if we ask Netflix to request So Weird from Disney on our behalf, particularly since they have a streaming deal with Disney. Given how easy it is to request, it's worth trying.

Done!! And I know some others have done it as well. Will it happen? Probably not but in the words of Fi, "Isn't worth a try? I mean how can it be wrong to hope.."

Since Disney will now have their own streaming service. We don't need to do this anymore. lol

We don't know much about Disney's new streaming service yet, they might not put any of the classic shows (pre-Raven) on there

Yeah, at this point, I'm thinking they won't. They're already calling Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, and Kim Possible "The Originals" on their Watch Disney website and app, as if they came first.

It's just because they're the most popular. The official Disney blog keeps So Weird alive just by mentioning it, so it's not like they've forgotten about any of the old shows, they just prioritize the ones that are guaranteed to draw lots of people. That said, the lack of any concentrated interest to even re-air some of the old shows is one of those weird Walt Disney Company quirks that I hate. It seems they'll only do anything real for the classic series through revivals (Girl Meets World/the new Raven show, I forgot the name) and that puts Even Stevens and Famous Jett Jackson on ice for a while too, even though the former is partially responsible for the network's shift to musical talent ( see here).I've been fixated lately on doing some sort of broad writing project about the "Wild Years" of Disney Channel's development--it was ostensibly the focus of my So Weird reviews but I think trying something with a wider scope might be better. I'm especially interested in reminding people of In A Heartbeat, as it's one of the only failures of the era (assuming the "65 episode" rule is true, which it has never been officially confirmed; IAH only ran 21 episodes). ANYWAY, rambling. Even the shows the network calls "The Originals" aren't guarantees for the new streaming service, although I think Lizzie McGuire has the greatest chance as some episodes of that show are posted on Youtube for consumption outside the U.S.

That's a really cool article on the Even Stevens musical. Thanks for sharing! I remember how unique and refreshing that episode felt at the time, and now everyone has a musical episode. Looks like it was in production around the same time as Buffy's "Once More With Feeling."
I've spent too much time trying to figure out why the Disney Channel is the way that it is when it comes to their older shows. Disney hasn't even made downloads of shows older than Lizzie McGuire available to purchase on iTunes. I guess it costs them money to keep shows on there. Now that the streaming service is coming around, I feel like it's one of our last hopes but if they won't even let us purchase those seasons or episodes, how likely is it that they would make them available to stream for "free" as part of a streaming subscription? Meh.

I requested So Weird on the DisneyLife UK streaming service. Whether or not something happens, IDK. I think it's more likely that it would be placed on the US version as the UK version is quite limited. Whether or not something happens, I did email the CEO of Disney and asked him please put So Weird on their new streaming service when it launches. Whether or not he responds is another matter, but I'll send him another email or if anyone else wants to email him? I'm not going to give up.

I am holding out for a physical media release, I don't have Netflix, nor do I want it, streaming services are unreliable, they also killed the video store, which is still a massive thorn in my side, so.......
