Checking if anyone else has noticed this. On the app it showed all the seasons when I started watching. A few days later, as I couldn't binge watch as I'd like, when I finally finished season 1, it jumped straight to Lightening Rod, and now it's only showing two seasons, 1 & 3.
Is anyone else missing season 2 on the app?

One person said that their husband sucked up hard enough that they put the season back on for them. Kinda weird for them to fix the issue for one person and not everyone else.
We are starting day five of S2 being off the platform. I think we all know that if this ever happened on one of the more popular series, the issue would be fixed within an hour. I am keeping in mind that it's Thanksgiving "break," though.

I'm sure most of you have found out that season 2 of So Weird got removed unexpectedly. Many people subscribed to Disney+ just for So Weird so this is so unfortunate!!! Live support has been contacted by many people and we have received different answers as to why it was removed from the episodes being out of order, contract issues, Disney restrictions, not being family friendly, and so on. I'm assuming the Disney+ support team agents can't do much to find out why. This is the response I got today

I had not heard of the Disney restrictions or family friendly issues yet... do we actually have reports of these being reasons given to us from calling/contacting Disney+ support?

I think it's funny that they linked you to a reddit thread about this.
And yes, people have reported to the SoWeirdonDisney twitter about receiving these explanations. But since the responses all differ, it seems like the tech support/customer support people are offering possible explanations instead of actual explanations.

I sent in a feedback report about this. Hopefully a lot of others have. This is very weird that they would release it and then take it down very soon after
I really hope it’s temporary, otherwise we have to go back to watching the show through other means, which is unfortunate.
Does anyone know if Anything like this has happened to other shows?

Never watched Andi Mack, but I heard it tackled heavier issues than most Disney shows. If that is the case, I hope Disney figures out the right way to handle censorship filters and adds back content that's been removed. Disney has to realize a lot of subscribers are adults who also love the brand. I'm hoping it's just a glitch (one of many apparently) that will be fixed...at some point. Eventually. To me the most annoying part is that Disney won't give out a straight answer. If I knew for sure the issue was on their "to-be-fixed" list, I'd be a lot more understanding.

I called again yesterday. It is definitely an issue they are aware of but they refuse still to give straight answers and the help line person acknowledged that and apologized. This time they did not make a promise of a timeframe and said they cannot guarantee a timeframe at this point and could not give a reason for it, but that they are working on it. Eyeroll.
This is most definitely not a technical issue at this point. It is definitely a content or contractual issue. Can't imagine what kind of rights/contract issue they could have that they did not clear before though it is certainly a more complicated show with original and (performing) existing music.
The thing is, though, they spent the resources and money to update these episodes and make them ready for streaming. So that makes me think they will make it available in *some* form eventually. Maybe they will switch it from Disney+ to Hulu if they are concerned about the content. I really hope they don't alter or censor it.
I am not actually very curious (if it *is* a dark content issue) if they got complaint(s) about it, which made them revisit. It's hard to believe that in that short of a timeframe someone would have found the show, watched to season 2, and filed a complaint though. Plus, the show was legitimately hard to find if you did not search for it, so only people watching in those first two weeks had to be fans.
So frustrating.

I'm sure it doesn't have to do with it being "too dark" because honestly, it isn't. The Marvel movies have lots of action and death in them, this is just tackling some deep issues usually in very light ways.
It could be the music performances from SheDaisy and The Moffats. Maybe?

Highly doubt it has anything to do with censorship — they would’ve removed all seasons Im sure.
It’s gotta be something to do with a contract

I just did a live chat for the first time and was basically told they don't get the kind of information we want to know (if/when it will return). I requested some consistency in responses to these questions since everyone is getting different answers.
If you got the 7 day trial and started watching on day 1, your next billing date should be December 19th. I will be unsubscribing prior to that date. After all we've been through as a fandom, I don't trust Disney to restore these episodes again soon and won't be giving Disney+ my money again until they're back.

I managed to work around this... if you use a VPN to sign in to Disney Plus and set it to Canada (who still happens to have season 2), you can actually watch it. I managed to do this with the Hola Free VPN extension on Google Chrome.
