That's a good point. Maybe try again in a couple weeks, krazy.

I sent feedback on the Replay Disney page. We'll see what happens. You'd think with all the digital video outlets out there, we'd be able to watch So Weird on Netflix or Amazon or Hulu or something like that. I mean, come on, how difficult would it be to make it available through a subscription service?! I'm not asking for a fancy DVD set or special features or anything (although that would be AMAZING, but I accept that it'll never ever happen lol).

I have no idea why Disney is so stingy when it comes to releasing their shows. They are making more of them available on iTunes (That's So Raven was put on there in its entirety earlier this year), but still no Even Stevens or any shows before that, really.
It's an amazing contrast to Nickelodeon, who has even made some episodes of The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo available on Amazon Instant and few seem to remember that show. They also haven't pulled the Are You Afraid of the Dark episodes from Youtube even though they have tons of views, while Disney removed all of the So Weird ones with 1/5th the viewing count in a lot of cases.

^^ When I sent my feedback, I included that making So Weird available would help them compete with Nickelodeon because the 90s Are All That block celebrates anniversaries of its old shows, even the overlooked ones like Hey Dude.
But did John from the Watch Disney Care Team care? No. His name is a lie.

It seems like they kind of are interested in competing with Nickelodeon, now that they've made DisneyReplay more official with a logo and such, but they still haven't promoted it very much. Maybe they don't need to.

Nickandmore has announced that old Disney Channel programming will be airing at around midnight on ABC Family at the end of December/beginning of January. So Weird is not in the lineup at the moment (Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, That's So Raven, Cheetah Girls, and Halloweentown are), but it seems like this is a new thing so I'm hoping that it will be successful and So Weird can be shown somewhere down the road. I think So Weird would be perfect for ABC Family. It definitely stands a better chance on there than in Disney Channel's Replay lineup.

, there's some new hope!! But ah it always seems like the type of old shows they usually replay don't go as far back as when So Weird first aired. These shows seem way newer, especially That's So Raven.

Very true. However, ABC Family is much more likely to air older shows than Disney Channel is. They air shows like Boy Meets World, Reba, and Gilmore Girls all the time. They even had the rights to Full House up until a year ago. Obviously, these shows were incredibly popular, and So Weird is not very well known, but I still think it's a better shot with ABC Family for So Weird than with Disney Channel. I'm definitely not saying it's a great shot, but it's a slightly better shot since Disney Channel hasn't really shown they're willing to play anything older than Even Stevens (except Boy Meets World, but that was a one time thing in honor of Girl Meets World).

. On one hand, I really hope this means that there's a chance of reviving older shows like So Weird and Famous Jett Jackson. On the other hand, I've always liked ABC Family and I hope Disney doesn't turn it into a Disney Replay Channel like Nickelodeon turned The N into this crappy version of Teennick that only airs the same five (fairly recent) Nick reruns. I really want a Disney Replay Channel, too (on a different channel). But only if they show ALL of their older shows instead of just the few they keep showcasing on Disney Replay.

Speaking of Disney Replay, my cable provider has signed up for the Watch Disney App. I got on there to check out what they have available now. It looks like they have some shows they aren't even airing on TV during Disney Replay, like Duck Tales. Interesting.

Oh, that's new. They also took off Even Stevens. I guess they'll keep rotating stuff. I won't be happy until I see So Weird or Famous Jett Jackson on there though.

The FAQ makes it sound like they remove and add stuff depending on whether they have the rights to it. Not sure why they wouldn't have the rights to most of these shows, unless it's technically being run by someone other than Disney.

I was wondering about that! And here I thought they might actually be throwing those of us in the older Disney Channel generation a bone. Of course not-- it always has to be about profit.
Guess this means they'll never bring So Weird back unless Alexz Johnson signs on to another Disney show or something.
