Not sure! Do you think they started filming shows widescreen around that time?
TOMORROW Y’ALL! Who is waking up at 6 EST to watch?
Unless we get a big snowstorm tonight, I have to work. Plus my boss scheduled a meeting for 4:45 so I have to stay after at work... of course.

The entire show was filmed in widescreen but s3 is the only one that actually had something out there in widescreen.

I would LOVE to stay home and watch So Weird tomorrow but I also have to work. *sigh There was snow in the forecast for the longest time too - the one time I crossed my fingers for a snow day! (This is a big deal considering how much I hate snow.) Will probably wait until the weekend. I may live-post on my tumblr again, I tried it a few years ago but never finished all the way through. I'm sure I'll have more to say, one of the great things about this show is I always notice something new with every rewatch.

I actually have the day completely off so I get to spend the day with a So Weird marathon! I am tempted to stay up until 3 AM and start it then, but my uncle is coming at like 10 AM to do yard work and my aunt is coming along to visit so I need to be awake for all that. I'll probably wake up super early like 6 AM to start on S1 and go until they come and continue after they leave.

Do you guys think there's any chance season 3 might be widescreen? All 3 seasons are fullscreen in the app, sadly. I was hoping they'd give us the widescreen versions.

Now that we have the episodes in HQ can we go after the soundtrack?

Some interesting things I have picked up on...
So Weird isn't included in the Disney Channel collection on D+. If you hit search, you can scroll down and find the Disney Channel collection and it's not there under series.
So Weird also is the only Disney Channel show I can find that doesn't have Disney written on its cover photo anywhere.
So Weird is in the 1990s section of the Disney Through the Decades collection. It's also included in the Kids section if you click on "Series" at the top of the page. So Weird is searchable if you set up a Disney Kids profile but it is not shown as a Disney Channel series in the Kids profile.

If anyone sees So Weird as one of the suggested titles for people who watch another show/movie, let me know! I haven't found it suggested for anything yet, including Even Stevens, which aired at the same time, and Halloweentown II, which was written by Jon Cooksey and Ali Marie Matheson.
We were hoping that having the show on Disney+ would expose the show to more people, but the way the site is set up now, it's not very likely that new viewers will find it.
There have been a lot of people on Twitter saying that they're upset that So Weird isn't on there because they aren't thinking to use the search bar but that's one of the only ways you can find it right now, or else scroll way far down in the Kids series/scroll way far over in the 90s section of the Disney through the Decades Collection.

I found it by clicking "series" on the side menu and then A-Z. I'm hoping people do that too. I did that with all movies and series to see what they had. But maybe once the service gets going, the algorithm will get better?

Isn't So Weird not officially a Disney Channel production? I don't remember the specifics, but it was made in Canada and I think it was produced by a smaller company for Disney. (I could've completely made that up, someone confirm please...) That could be the main, maybe the ONLY, reason it's not considered an official "Disney Channel Series." Also why "Disney's" isn't anywhere on the thumbnail. I also wonder if this has to do with rating. So Weird is much darker than recent Disney Channel shows. Parents today would probably consider it more of a preteen or young teen show, not for the typical six-to-ten-year-old demographic. Maybe Disney's trying to head off complaints from parents who let kids browse on their own. While I really do want people to discover this show, I don't know if it will happen right away. After people watch everything on their must-watch list, they'll start browsing to see what they missed over the years. I'm thinking there will be comments like "what IS this show and how did I not know about it when I was a kid?" At least I hope! Also, if people complain about So Weird not being on Disney Plus, before they try searching...that sounds like a "them" problem.

Forgot about that post! That makes a lot of sense. It's just weird seeing Boy Meets World listed as a Disney Channel series when it only aired on there in syndication... and then So Weird not listed as a Disney Channel series.
Also in old promos for So Weird, it is described as a Disney Channel Original series?

Well because Boy Meets World was produced by ABC and ABC is owned by Disney
